Hot on the heels of the announcement that 5GW of the 2019 Contracts for Difference auction round was awarded to projects located off the North East, the event was a showcase for North East-based suppliers and the heritage, skills and depth of experience in the region. For suppliers, it was their opportunity to learn more about the significant number of upcoming opportunities.
The event was part of the wider annual Offshore Wind Week series of events and included opportunities for industry VIPs to tour the facilities of supply chain companies across the region.
