Ithica’s approach has always been based on bringing a cinematic eye to these important projects, through ground and interview work, moving camera, timelapse installations and aerial shots with drones.

Scope of work for Sofia: Ithica’s provision for Sofia focuses on the offshore installation; the OCP, foundations, array cables and turbines being constructed as the wind farm takes shape, through to first power. Although these are important milestones for the project, we will also be looking to tell the stories of those involved in Sofia and the challenges they have overcome.

Economic / Employment Impact: The company works with a small team to ensure communication and quality are controlled, which is vital for their involvement in the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm Project. Ithica has a mixture of staff and partners collaborating on the project which gives a unique slant on capturing this important milestone for Sofia.

Training and Development: The scope of the work is carried out offshore, which means Ithica has taken its onshore approach offshore. This has involved ramping up the teams’ technical and creative skills. Ensuring that training and permits are in place for being physically offshore, before looking at what is creatively possible in a harsh and unpredictable environment.
