Redcar event for local suppliers
A live Teesside Engineering Network event, organised by NOF / Energi Coast with updates from Sofia and two of the project's key contractors now working on the project in Tees Valley.

Local suppliers invited to find out the latest news and opportunities
Suppliers based in Tees Valley and the surrounding area are invited to an event being held in Redcar to find out the latest on Sofia's construction activity and be introduced to two of the key sub-contractors soon starting work on the project.
In association with Teesside Engineering Network (TEN), and being organised by NOF and Energi Coast, the event will be held on Friday 11 March at Kirkleatham Walled Gardens, Redcar.
It will be the first TEN event for 2022 and has been designed to ensure local suppliers are well placed to be involved with local contracts by providing them with the opportunity to learn more about the project and its construction activity, particularly in the Teesside area.
The suppliers presenting at the event will be: Kier Engineering, soon starting construction of Sofia's onshore converter station on behalf of GE's Grid Solutions and J. Murphy & Sons Limited responsible for the civils works for the onshore cable route for both Sofia and adjacent Dogger Bank C.
