Latest Sofia community newsletter out now
Edition 4 of the newsletter is available to download or read online.
Sofia Offshore Wind Farm has now published the fourth edition of its regular project newsletter for the local community, those with an interest in the project and all its stakeholders.
The spring 2022 edition is available to read online here or download a copy for printing here.
The content includes an update on what is happening at the Teesside construction site, including the fact a new contractor - Kier Infrastructure - has moved in to start work on the onshore converter station. Work has also started on the cable corridor itself, with J. Murphy & Sons working on behalf of both Sofia and neighbouring project Dogger Bank C. There are also stories on Sofia's support of education initiatives with local schools and Universities, and an invitation for local community groups to apply for grants for the second year of the benefit fund.
As well as electronic versions sent to the Sofia database, printed copies of the newsletter are sent to all addresses in Lazenby Village and all those living within 300 metres of the cable corridor.
Anyone who would like to keep updated on the project can request either electronic or printed copies of future editions of the newsletter by registering their interest. To subscribe they can either get in touch via our email address or telephone 0330 122 9670 (24 hour number) leaving an email address to receive an e-copy or postal address for a printed version.
