Autumn/winter edition now available to view or download

Sofia Offshore Wind Farm has now published the third edition of its quarterly project newsletter for the local community, friends of the project and wider stakeholders.

The autumn/winter 2021 edition is available to read online here.

This edition provides updates on the progress of the work at the construction site next to Wilton International, Teesside and gives an overview of what is to come along the cable route from landfall between Redcar and Markse-by-the-Sea and the National Grid substation at Lazenby.  It also covers the project's community and education related initiatives since the summer.

As well as electronic versions sent to the Sofia database, printed copies of the newsletter are sent to all those living near the onshore converter station construction site, and postcards informing of its publication are distributed to all addresses along the cable route.
