Sofia's summer/autumn 2023 community newsletter now available

Announcing start of offshore construction and all the latest on the project

Sofia Offshore Wind Farm has published the latest edition of its regular newsletter for the community local to its onshore works, anyone with an interest in the project and all its stakeholders.

An online booklet version of the summer/autumn 2023 edition is available to read online here or download a copy for printing here.

This edition announces the start of the project's three-year offshore construction phase, gives an update on the installation of the onshore export cable and construction of the converter station in Teesside and provides a look ahead with a project milestone calendar. It features stories about the project's work with local primary schools and Teesside University and also names the local groups recently awarded grants from the Sofia Construction Community Fund.

As well as electronic versions sent to all of those on the Sofia database, printed copies of the newsletter are sent to addresses in Lazenby Village and all those living within 300 metres of the project's onshore construction works.
