Originally developed for year 9 but can be used well for older or younger pupils with appropriate adaptations.
In this resource, pupils tackle a design and make assignment on the theme portable/emergency wind power.
They will work in groups and develop a business concept from a given design brief. They will then work together to design a portable wind powered turbine and select the materials they will use according to their characteristics, and match them to appropriate making processes.
