Revelry Spirits is a small-batch craft distiller producing premium, handcrafted gin and vodka. The whole process, from distilling to bottling and labelling, is completed in-house in their urban distillery in the market town of Yarm-on-Tees.
Scope of work: Revelry Spirits was contracted to provide corporate gifts to Sofia Offshore Wind Farm’s team members, suppliers and contractors to thank them for their efforts in helping the projects to reach a significant milestone - a positive financial investment decision. In usual times project milestones would call for a face-to-face celebration in recognition of work efforts, but Covid-19 meant the team were not able to meet or enjoy a social gathering.
Opting for naturally-filtered vodka, Revelry provided a corporate package which included a bespoke label, unique cocktail recipe cards, including the Sofia Sea Breeze, and bottle tag. The branded product was delivered to individual recipients in the UK and abroad.
Economic and employment impact: As a small business within a market town, the contract has provided Revelry Spirits with a significant volume of orders to support its continued growth. This has supported employment through the pandemic when the distillery remained closed due to national lockdown measures.
This has had a wider economic impact as the suppliers of the distillery have been contracted to support the additional services, including the locally sourced water supplier, a Teesside design agency and a regional print company.
Training and development: Prior to this contract, Revelry Spirits typically sold single unit bottles to individual customers, with a plan to provide cases to hospitality venues. The lockdown prevented the growth of the hospitality industry and the company existed with online orders only. This contract allowed Revelry to create a bespoke corporate package, selling multiple bottles in one order. This model has now been marketed to other organisations and supported sales during a difficult trading period.
