Sofia part of Net Zero Tech Talk
As the COVID-19 lockdowns were rolled out, many scheduled industry events had to rapidly reshape themselves to become purely online versions of the occasions that were previously planned.
One such event was the May 2020 Teesside Tech Talk webinar hosted by members of the IMechE's Teessside Area Panel and the Institution of Power Engineers (IPowerE),
The event was the fourth in a series of Teesside Tech Talks, it focused on achieving Net Zero with two local case studies on offshore wind energy plus carbon capture, utilisation & storage. Sofia's Project Director David Few presented latest updates on the project to an engaged audience of more than 100 engineers and other interested listeners. Colin McGill, Project Director of Net Zero Teesside was also on the bill.
The fourth Teesside Tech Talk (via webinar), was organised by Scott Taylor, AVP Business Development Sembcorp and President of the Institution of Power Engineers.
The Tech Talk is now available to listen to and watch online via YouTube here.
